Where do you want God to expand what you are engaged in, working on, thinking about, pondering over?? Take time to check in with God and see which way God is leading you. Often we are quick to move forward with our own ideas that have nothing to do with God's plan for our life, skills, abilities or relationships. When is the last time you meditated before you moved? Prayed before you powered through? Discerned before you dibbled and dabbled? Sat in solitude before you sacrificed your time energy and soul satisfaction? Take time today and pause with the presence and power of God before you move... and see where God is leading for the expansion of God's own territory for you.

DATE: THURSDAY, JUNE 25, 2015 (LAST DAY TO REGISTER FRIDAY, JUNE 19, 2015) TIME: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM LOCATION: GREATER GRACE TEMPLE, 23500 W. 7 MILE ROAD, DETROIT 48219 COST: THERE IS NO COST TO ATTEND THIS TRAINING. Suggested Participants: Fathers, male caregivers, father figures, Wayne County stakeholders from Community Mental Health, Child Welfare, Juvenile Justice, Public Health, Schools and Coordinating Agencies. Additionally, Case Managers, Counselors, Parent Support Partners, Social Workers, Therapists and Youth. Training Description: We often find that fathers are not included in the treatment process. It has long been acknowledged that parents are critical to emotional well being of children. As a result families are included in the treatment planning and service delivery process for their children. However, men are noticeably absent from this process.
